SANTA AGUEDA

A Traditional Basque Folk Song

A guitar arrangement by Byron Zeliotis, of the beautiful  Basque choral "Santa Agueda".
It is usually sang around the 4th or 5th of February.

This song is usually accompanied by the percussive sound of staffs hitting the ground while the person sings the following words:

"Wishing happiness to all who live in this house
we come to greet you
renewing the old custom of going from door to door.
We are short of money and shoes
but we have a voice
so we want to sing out loud."

I include three different scores: One with just the classical score which includes my own fingering and phrasing, one  score without any fingerings so that you can write in your own, and a score with score and TAB showing how to  play the piece on the guitar fretboard.
